The awareness of drumming historically has been used by our ancestors and tribal communities for centuries around the world to communicate and establish a feeling of unity and peace. The drum represents the singing world of each man or women. Merced says: “ Every cell in my body is like the entire universe in constant rhythm. Drumming has brought me closer to all of creation and especially to mankind. It draws me close to the world and reminds me of life’s gift to all”.
